Arcimoto, Inc.®, a company that specializes in making ultra-efficient electric vehicles, has announced that Christopher W. Dawson will be the company's new CEO. Mr. Dawson brings over a decade of experience in the electric vehicle industry, having worked on the development of EVs for both on-road and off-road use, as well as for the military.

Extensive Industry Experience

Mr. Dawson's experience in the electric vehicle industry includes serving as the CEO of Nikola Tesla Co., a company that specializes in engineering services for EVs and hydrogen powertrain development. He has also served as the Chief Technology Officer for two other companies, HNO international and Tesla Aerial Robotics. Additionally, Mr. Dawson was an initial investor in Atlis Motor Vehicles in 2019, where he subsequently led Research and Development, Engineering, and Product Development as Vice President of Manufacturing Engineering in 2020-21 for the XT Truck, XP Platforms, and AMV Battery Cell.

Mr. Dawson's experience in electric vehicle manufacturing and business makes him the ideal leader for Arcimoto. He played pivotal roles during the scale-up of the Model 3 and has a proven track record of delivering on commercial and government vehicle contracts. Mr. Dawson's expertise and focus on efficiency will be instrumental in accelerating Arcimoto's next phase of growth.

Immediate Focus on Strategic Partnerships and Capital Formation

Mr. Dawson's immediate focus will be on accelerating strategic partnerships, capital formation for scale, and the continued refinement and growth of Arcimoto's sales efforts. His appointment to the board of directors last summer will allow him to hit the ground running. Mr. Dawson will be working alongside Jesse Fittipaldi, who will be assuming the role of President, and Dwayne Lum, who will be assuming the role of COO, to unlock Arcimoto, Inc.'s true potential.
