Coursera shares soared 16% July 25th after the company reported second-quarter revenue of $170 million, beating analysts' estimates of $164 million despite posting a loss of 15 cents per share. 

Analysts had expected earnings of 1 cent per share.

For the current quarter ending in September, Coursera said it expects revenue in the range of $171 million to $175 million.

The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $695 million to $705 million.
