PodcastOne (NASDAQ: PODC) reported fiscal fourth-quarter 2026 results above expectations, supported by revenue growth, improved adjusted EBITDA, record full-year revenue, and stronger fiscal 2027 guidance.
PodcastOne is a podcast publisher and sales network that produces, distributes, and monetizes podcast content across platforms including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, Amazon, ART19, Paramount, Pluto TV, AT&T, Samsung, LG, and Vizio.
The company reported a loss of $0.02 per share, better than estimates for a loss of $0.03, representing a 33.3% earnings surprise. Revenue came in at $15.66 million, above estimates of $15.50 million, with revenue growth of 11.1%.
Fourth-quarter revenue increased 11% to $15.7 million from $14.1 million a year earlier.
Operating loss narrowed to $460,000 from $2.3 million, while net loss improved to $461,000 from $2.3 million.
Adjusted EBITDA increased 109% to $1.9 million from $1.2 million a year earlier, showing stronger operating leverage as the company scaled advertising, licensing, and platform monetization.
For fiscal 2026, revenue increased 18% to a record $61.7 million from $52.1 million. Adjusted EBITDA improved to $6.3 million from a loss of $501,000 in fiscal 2025.
PodcastOne issued fiscal 2027 revenue guidance of $68 million to $75 million.
The company also raised adjusted EBITDA guidance to $8 million to $10 million.
Management said growth will be driven by PodcastOne.AI, content licensing, advertising, strategic partnerships, distribution expansion, and potential targeted M&A.
PodcastOne said its cash balance increased 225% year-over-year to $3.5 million.
The company also eliminated all junior debt, strengthening its balance sheet.
Operationally, PodcastOne said it expanded its content portfolio, strengthened creator relationships, renewed flagship shows, and advanced to a top seven ranking among U.S. podcast publishers.
